Usain Bolt - 9.69

I remember exactly where I was when Ben Johnson destroyed the world record in 1988. I remember the pride at beating his (our) arch-nemesis in the swaggering Carl Lewis. I remember every second. He was a massive man and his acceleration through 100m was relentless. Now, admittedly, I don't follow track and field, but I might start after this. Jamaica's Usain Bolt left me, and likely several billion of us, with our collective jaws on the floor last weekend in what will likely be another one of those moments, those where-were-you moments. A performance of staggering dimensions as he literally toys with the rest of the field en route to a new world record. The gifted ones always seem to make it look like they're not really trying eh. Bet you'll never guess his secret...
